About the Painter
Born September 23rd 1968, Holly Matturro is a conservative American artist who grew up in New York, painting her first published mural at the age of 12. As she attended high school, she was known for her colorful fine art techniques and structural design skills.
She studied in New York, receiving her B.F.A.
Her favorite places are illustrated by some of the beautiful Jersey Shore. Impartially, as to her love of New England's various craft arts and scenic shops. These places capture strong usage of light through color and are traditionally painted as places we remember.
Her decorative illustrations, building structures, and sponge tooling emphasize reminiscent early American classic illustrators, as they say.
She lives along the coast creating in her home studio. Holly is 51 years old.
